I shoot with a canon HV30 which imports as HDV1080i
Will that format be friendly to both editing suites?
Here's the catch tho.
because i shoot in the 24p mode I have to reverse telecine in and because I edit in FCP 99% of the time, I convert it to prores. Does premiere play nice with prores?

I currently have 850 family plan with unlimited family texting. I tried to sign up with a CS rep, but I was told that my 850 min family was not eligible. I guess that I will keep the extra 150 min rather than drop to the 700 min family plan. Has others with 850 family plan been able to add this new messaging plan?

Now if this guy is not leaving to retire. Then RIP Apple. Seriously, if Apple thinks I want my computer to resemble an overgrown iPad then they can loose my money and I'll be buying an Alienware.
Microsoft seem to be the only ones that still get computers? Apple has done brilliantly as well but I really do worry that they have an itch to dumb them down to ridiculous levels!!
Then again...... perhaps the man is leaving because he just is not comfortable with the talk from other employee's about where they want to take Apple after Mr Jobs leaves which is no doubt going to be very soon. I have a feeling they want to go in an entirely new direction..
IMO you don't leave a massively successful company after 22 years without a reason unless your retiring.

Has the movie rental period expired? It typically gives you 2 days to finish watching a movie once you start playing it. Did you play any of the movie after you downloaded it?

It's always bugged me when groups compare iPhone to "Android devices" because there's only one brand of iPhone when there's tons of various Android phones. Didn't seem fair to just chop off the rest of iOS.
Glad this study was done by a major group. Maybe this'll shut up some of the pro-Android, anti-Apple crowd.
Not only has Apple’s mobile platform share been artificially cut down by separating out the iPhone alone, the other mobile device makers have had their share artificially increased, by lumping them all together! But since those devices vary in size, version and capabilities so much, they do NOT add up to a single platform in the way iOS does. Not for developers, not for device makers, and not for users.

-Option for map storage on local machine, all or just a user-specified area even temporarily
-Live Turn By Turn directions w/ optional audio interactivity
-High contrast color option
-Eliminate highways & toll roads options
-Bike & foot paths
-Bus routes
-Weather overlay
-Street View Fly thru previews
-View options, with intelligent default zoom levels & levels of detail:
---Zoom to fit where you are and your destination with total trip info, and zoom in live as the two points get closer together
---Zoom to fit where you are and where your next turn or two is going to be, and zoom in live as the two points get closer together
---Flexible Scaling option, w roads using either a dynamic graphical scale or breaklines to condense your map into a smaller, clearer image for easy reference...

zen.state this appears to be the correct ram for my system as its low spec dual 867 which if my research is good means it need PC2100 266mhz ram. And 4x 512mb is my max of 2Gb. This one is the cheapest I can find new. is that right?

The White IP4 will look sick, much like how awesome the white iPad 2 looks. I think the demand will still be strong for it due to all of the September IP5 rumors, and the fact that I know tons of people that have broken old iPhone are are waiting for the white to release. I would not expect crazy demand for it, but sales should be very good.

if they are not tracking people then why have the feature? maybe the information is for someone else??... who knows but one thing is for sure its an invasion of privacy..... even if I do stay home all day and night.
Not only that but if it only tracked you for a time and then deleted it self automatically then I could see it but my understanding this is not just one day or week so in theory they can track you for a long time.
For those who do not care fine I don't care what they think, this should be something that can be turned off without loosing other functionality.
